About Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre
Supporting our community since 1989
Since its beginnings, Whitsunday Community Services Inc has grown into an organisation that provides support programs for people who are experiencing disadvantage or are vulnerable due to poverty, low income, deprivation, capabilities and social exclusion; people who are experiencing homelessness, mental health conditions, separation, divorce, domestic violence and/ or crisis.
The Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre has become a place where people can come together and tap into their community, creating a strong neighbourhood and hub of community activity.
The Whitsunday Neighbourhood Centre supports local people to become more active, confident and resilient, and forms an integral part of the social fabric of the Whitsunday community.
